Came across this while searching on cilantro. I had similar ingredients, swapped in brown rice (instead of 15min I simmered for 40min), added some butter, I didn't have limes but had lemons and too much cilantro so this recipe was perfect for me... and you know what it turned out great! The first time I've ever eaten this too, I'm from Singapore. Thank you for this easy and delicious recipe. Like finally I made rice taste so good 😂

Dam this is so delicious I ate half the batter. Wish I had cinnamon. I didn't have pecans so I pulsed almonds cashews. I barely had the flour so I pulsed the half cup of oats. I eyeballed butter bc I didn't have ml or 10oz cup. Still was to sticky. Freaking good mam. Thx

This what she calls Mexican rice it's not Mexican rice we do not put garlic or Anaheim peppers in the Mexican rice this is all that we put in the Mexican rice cilantro peas and carrots and chicken bouillon that is true Mexican rice

Sprinkle a little flour on top = if you don’t flour this dough as soon as it comes out it will get everywhere and on everything including in your brain

275 degrees low and slow for 3 and a half hours! Works every time
